Rhino High Fidelity reissues Devo and Sparks on all-analog vinyl

New Traditionalists and A Woofer in Tweeter's Clothing receive Kevin Gray-mastered editions, each limited to 5,000 numbered copies.

Rhino High Fidelity has released audiophile vinyl editions of Devo's New Traditionalists and Sparks' A Woofer in Tweeter's Clothing. The albums were originally released in 1981 and 1972 respectively.

Both editions were mastered directly from the original analog tapes by Kevin Gray and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Optimal in Germany. Rhino describes an all-analog production chain, with deluxe gatefold jackets and new liner notes.

Each title is limited to 5,000 individually numbered copies. The October 16 releases continue Rhino High Fidelity's focus on original-master-tape sourcing and carefully produced physical editions. Current stock should be checked with the retailer.
